An “ad impression” refers to the count of how many times an advertisement (such as a banner, video, or text ad) is fetched and displayed on a webpage, app, or other digital platform, regardless of whether or not it was clicked. It essentially represents a view or a single exposure of the advertisement to a user. Ad impressions are a common metric used in online advertising to measure the reach or frequency of ad campaigns.
